Beardsley Zoo condors about to take flight

The Beardsley Zoo is getting ready to say goodbye to two giant Andean Condors.

The birds are being released back into the wild.

"The reason we do this is because the wild population still can't sustain itself," says zoo director Gregg Dancho.

Officials say the pair will first travel to Ohio to learn to fend for themselves before being taken to Colombia to be released.
