Children rescued from grounded boat in Norwalk Harbor

Fifteen children were rescued from a grounded boat in the Norwalk Harbor this weekend, police say. The kids, ranging in age from 8 to 11, were aboard a 40-foot research vessel from the Maritime Aquarium. The boat sent out a distress call when it hit ground in the harbor, officials say. No one was injured as the children were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard, with help from Darien and Norwalk marine police.
