Arrest made after police seize 26 guns

A 62-year-old Fairfield man was arrested this week, charged with risk of injury to a minor, after police say they seized more than two dozen guns from his home in July.

Officers say Stephen Epifano's ex-wife called police when she found the guns this summer while checking on someone who was house sitting for him.

Police say they found numerous unsecured guns in Ephifano's home where an unsupervised minor was staying.

Officials found 26 guns and 12 containers of ammunition when they raided the home.
