Malloy gets high marks for Irene, low marks overall

A poll has found that a broad majority of Connecticut residents approve of Gov. Dannel Malloy's handling of the response to Hurricane Irene, but he still has a negative job approval rating.

The Quinnipiac University poll released today found that 79 percent of people surveyed approve of his response to Irene.

However, 48 percent of them disapprove of Malloy's overall job performance while only 41 percent approve.
