Milford family hopes to get back stolen ring

The granddaughter of an elderly Milford woman is asking for help in getting the woman's engagement ring back.

Jodi Smith says her grandmother's $20,000 diamond ring was stolen by her caretaker.

Smith noticed the ring was missing from her grandmother's finger back on August 20 and called police.

She says investigators believe the ring was purchased by Milford Pawn shop and then resold to an unknown person.

Smith is hoping the ring will be returned to her grandmother.

Smith says police told her the worker sold the ring to the pawn shop for $200 and that person has since entered a drug rehab clinic.
