Stamford picking up after Irene

Stamford continues to pick up after Irene caused damage in the city.

The city's director of operations says crews are going block by block now picking up tree trunks, broken branches and debris.

Ernie Orgera says residents have just one shot to get everything out onto the street for pickup and crews will not go back once they do a street.

Crews will be out working for the next month between 7 a.m and 6 p.m.
