Police probe vandalism at Bridgeport auto body shop

Bridgeport police have detained three people for questioning today in connection with an overnight vandalism incident targeting nearly two dozen cars inside an auto body shop.

Julie DiNardo, the owner of DiNardo Auto Sales on Fairfield Avenue, says a neighbor reported suspicious activity at her business to police this morning.

Police say it appears the suspects cut a hole into the entrance gate and went straight down the line of cars, smashing each one.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is being asked to call the Bridgeport Police Department.
