Greenwich police search for armed robber

Greenwich police say they're searching for an armed robber that held up a local man after he sold his vehicle across the state line in Port Chester, N.Y.

Officials say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. last night on Ann Street.

Police say the victim was walking home when another man approached him on foot with a gun in hand and stole thousands of dollars from him.

Officials believe there's a possible connection between the cash deal from the vehicle sale and the armed robbery that followed.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 203-622-8018.
