State to hold hearing on Irene

State lawmakers are set to hold a hearing on how prepared Connecticut was for Tropical Storm Irene.

The meeting is scheduled to happen in the coming weeks.

Lawmakers say they also want to speak with the state's utilities to see how well they responded to the massive outages.

At least 830,000 people in Connecticut were without power last week.

Some people are just now getting their power back on.
