State lawmakers close to approving jobs bill

Governor Dannel Malloy says he and lawmakers are close to agreeing on a bill aimed at creating jobs in Connecticut.

However, questions are being raised by Republicans about a second bill that authorizes tens of millions of dollars in borrowing to fund a new laboratory at the UConn Health Center.

The General Assembly will head to Hartford next week for a special session to vote on the bills.
