Accomplice in Fairfield double murder dies

The woman who helped plan a robbery that led to the deaths of a Fairfield couple has died.

Nicole Pearce's attorney says she lost her battle with cervical cancer last Friday.

Last week, Pearce was scheduled to be sentenced to 50 years in prison for helping Christopher DiMeo plan the 2005 jewelry store robbery that ended in the deaths of Tim and Kim Donnelly.

However, sentencing was postponed because of Pearce's poor health.
