Stratford forced to re-hire ousted officer

A judge says the town of Stratford must re-hire the police officer who was fired after having a seizure and crashing his patrol car on duty.

Justin LoSchiavo was fired after the accident because town officials claim he did not fully disclose his medical condition.

A state labor panel later ruled LoSchiavo should be reinstated and a judge agreed.

Stratford Mayor John Harkins says the town will bring the case to an appellate court.
