Job fair creates hope for unemployed

Thirty-three companies ranging from health care and banking to the media and restaurant industries participated in a job fair at the Trumbull Marriott today.

Hundreds of people gathered to submit their resumes and impress employers.

For some participants that have been without jobs for a while, they said that this seemed to show that there is hope in finding a job in today's economy.

The job fair also offered informational sessions on topics such as finding a job in a tough economy and improving personal image.
