Attempted burglary casts light on camper safety

Connecticut officials are speaking up about camper safety during the holiday weekend, after a man attempted to burglarize one and was caught after an extensive search yesterday.

Columbus Day weekend, according to officials, is the last hurrah for the state's parks. Southwestern Connecticut Park Supervisor Jim Beschle suggests to those heading out to take precautions before leaving.
