FEMA urges storm victims to take action

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) representatives are urging local residents affected by Tropical Storm Irene to take action and register for emergency relief.

At an event in Bridgeport today, FEMA officials said the time was ticking on getting federal cleanup aid and that people in need have until the end of the month to register.

FEMA officials say today's stop was their first in southwestern Connecticut with their traveling information booth. They say they'll be hitting several other locations in the next couple of weeks.
