Stratford police search for hit-and-run suspect

A Bridgeport woman is in critical condition this evening after police say a driver struck her with his car in Stratford and fled the scene. The accident occurred early Saturday morning near the intersection of Stratford Avenue and Main Street. Police say Natasha Walker, 29, was hit crossing Main Street and rushed to the hospital. Witnesses say Walker, a mother of three, had just come from a nearby diner, and was heading back to her car. They say they have located the car believed to be involved in the accident, but are still waiting for other witnesses to come forward before making any arrests. One of Walker's friends says she is recovering, but suffered a broken leg and pelvis, as well as a lacerated liver.Woman critical after Stratford hit-and-run accident
