Stamford police hunt for 5 home invasion suspects

Stamford police are asking the public to help them track down five home invasion suspects. The incident occurred Saturday night at an apartment on Scofield Avenue. Police say five masked men, two of whom were armed, broke into the home and told the residents that they were being robbed. "Guys that think they can come in houses with guns like this, with no regard for anyone else's safety, that's scary," one resident says. "I'm sorry, that's scary." Police say no one was hurt in the robbery, but electronics and other personal items were stolen. Anyone with information is urged to call Stamford police at 203-977-4444.Police search for Stamford home invasion suspects
