Darien police search for attempted animal hospital burglar

Police in Darien are searching for a second suspect in an attempted animal hospital burglary. Authorities have already arrested a 17-year-old man in connection to the incident at the Darien Animal Hospital last night. The facility's manager says one of his employees was asleep inside, and called police when she heard someone on the roof. Sgt. Jeremiah Marron spotted the suspects as they tried getting into the building, and chased them as they fled across six lanes of I-95. He said a police dog helped catch one of the men, who was hiding atop a rock wall. The 17-year-old's identity has not been released because he is underage.
