Connecticut Food Bank desperate for Thanksgiving donations

Thanksgiving is just 16 days away, and the Connecticut Food Bank says it is desperate for your donations.

Spokeswoman Mary Ingarra says food donations are down, yet the list of needy families continues to grow.

Currently, there are 130 families that have asked for turkeys, and Ingarra is concerned that there might not be enough food for them this Thanksgiving.

The food pantry is asking people to donate in any way they can, whether it be $5, five hours or five cans of food. Connecticut Food Bank
