Budding fashion designers show off their work

Some future fashion designers are getting ready to "set up shop" in their school.

Students in the Fashion Merchandising class at Fairfield Warde High School are making products like jewelry and scarves which they'll sell in a boutique called "Trends" that opens next month.

They say the profits will go to charity and student scholarships.

Students say the class has helped them gear up for a career in fashion AND business, and has taught them some important skills.

Fashion merchandising students at Fairfield Ludlowe High are also opening a shop next month.
