Educators meet in Norwalk to improve childhood literacy

Educators met today in Norwalk for a seminar on early childhood development.

The Stepping Stones Museum hosted preschool teachers and caregivers for a free workshop this morning.

The president of "Literacy How" at Haskins Laboratories in New Haven spoke about developing children's reading levels with the help of specialized activities and games.

The executive director of Stepping Stones says the workshop helps educators improve their skills.

Teachers worked on letter sounds, rhymes and the alphabet before touring the museum.
