Wilton town officials meet with FEMA reps
Wilton town leaders met with FEMA representatives today to discuss how hard the town was hit during October's nor'easter.
The meeting, held at Wilton Town Hall, gave the leaders and representatives time to crunch numbers for a couple of hours, giving them an idea of how much money was spent because of the storm.
All over Wilton, debris still litters roadways and yards, more than a week after the storm hit.
Wilton First Selectman Bill Brennan says that a town-wide cleanup could take up to six weeks and he expects the costs to do some damage to the town's budget.
How much Wilton and other towns around the state could expect from FEMA is still up in the air.
