WSTC/WNLK team bids farewell to its listeners

After decades on the air in Norwalk and Stamford, the WSTC/WNLK radio team is bidding an emotional farewell to its loyal listeners.

The Cox-owned news radio station, which has been in operation since the 50s, was recently sold to Sacred Heart University's radio station.

After Sunday, the programs that are still airing will do so out of the studio of WSHU.

Morning show host John LaBarca says the station has become a household staple and he is sure it will be missed by many.

Although LaBarca will not be on the air five days a week, his popular Italian House Party show will air once a week on the new station.
