Malloy activates National Guard

The Connecticut National Guard has been called in to help clear local roads blocked by fallen trees.

Gov. Dannel Malloy says most of the troops will head to the hardest hit areas of the state up north, where some roads are still closed due to debris.

He says when they're done there, they will be sent to other cities and towns still in need of assistance.
