Wilton residents worried about suspended tree limb

Some Wilton residents say a 20-foot tree limb resting on a power line is posing a dangerous risk to their neighborhood. The tree snapped on Clover Drive during the weekend storm, and the area surrounding the utility pole is not blocked off with caution tape. Residents say they have complained to the power company, but have not received a response. "This could fall at any time and a fire could start," says resident Dina Rodgers. "My parents have been very fortunate and they haven't lost their power, so I hope they don't lose it now." Authorities say communities without power are their first priority, but that they will remove the tree as soon as possible.Wilton gets relief from out-of-town utility crews Storm Resource LinksWeather CenterTraffic and Weather
