Six-month anniversary marked of unsolved Stamford murder

This week marks the six-month anniversary of what Stamford police say is one of the most savage killings they've ever seen, a murder that remains unsolved.

Police say on May 1, the body of 30-year-old Leonel Rios Hernandez was discovered on the second floor of a multi-family home at 1 Daly St. on the city's east side.

Investigators believe one person made their way inside the apartment and beat Hernandez to death. Police say his sister discovered his bloodied body.
