Norwalk minister sentenced to 5 years in prison
The attorney for a Norwalk minister who molested a young relative says his client was sentenced today to five years in prison.
As News 12 reported, the Rev. Phillip Joubert was found guilty last month of five charges including first and second-degree sexual abuse.
Police say Joubert assaulted the victim at his home in Queens in 2009.
Joubert was the founding pastor of New Light Missionary Baptist Church in Norwalk.
