2 employees hurt in Fairfield robbery

Fairfield police are on the hunt for the man who roughed up two female employees while trying to rob a frozen yogurt shop.

It happened Sunday morning at the Pinkberry on the Post Road just before the shop opened.

Investigators say the masked man forced his way inside as a young woman was waiting for another to show up for work.

They say he demanded money and told her he had a knife.

Police say the robbery was interrupted by another employee who entered the store.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fairfield Police Department at 203-254-4816.
