Some Stamford H.S. students suspended for alleged underage drinking

Several Stamford High School students have been suspended after they allegedly showed up to a school dance intoxicated.

School officials say that the issue was brought to light when one female student vomited during the dance.

Officials say they suspended all students who had attended a pre-party at the home of one of the students. The school says that even if some who attended the party were not drinking, they have just as much to answer for.

Many students at the school say they are embarrassed and disappointed by the actions of their fellow students.

The school will host a community forum in January to discuss the dangers of underage drinking and alcohol consumption.
