Bridgeport mom hopes for break in son's unsolved murder

On what would have been his 27th birthday, a Bridgeport mother is speaking out about her son's unsolved murder, saying that a break in the case would be the best birthday gift she could ever give her late son.

Shirley William's son Tremaine was shot to death as he drove away from a Waterbury nightclub in 2008. Police haven't made any arrests, and Williams says the case has gone cold.

Williams sat down with News 12 Connecticut in hopes of deterring young people from a life of crime. She says her son was an aspiring police officer, a college graduate and a proud father of two.
