'Shop, Save, and Support' event held in Westport

A Westport teen is doing his part to help the local economy while at the same time reaching out to those hit by devastation around the world.

Matthew Lev, a 17-year-old junior at Staples High School, is the creator of the program called "Shop, Save, and Support," which kicked off today.

Select stores in Westport have agreed to give a portion of today's profits to Save The Children to help people in need in the U.S. and all over the world.

Lev says he hopes to hold the event again next year and perhaps include other surrounding communities.
