Local police join Click it or Ticket

The national Click it or Ticket campaign began today and many local police departments are joining in.

Police across southwestern Connecticut will be on the look out for drivers and passengers who are not wearing their seat belts.

They're also planning to ticket anyone caught talking on their phone without a hands free device

Several checkpoints have already been set up across the state

The national "Click It or Ticket" campaign runs until June 5.
