Stamford man arraigned on burglary charge

A Stamford man was arraigned today after police say he was caught burglarizing an apartment.

They say someone at the Rippowam Park Apartments on Connecticut Avenue saw two men climb into an apartment through a window yesterday.

Police say Carl Lubin was caught in the act. They say he threw a television at an officer and ran off with the other suspect.

Lubin was arrested, but police say the other person got away.

They say because Lubin was already on probation for another crime, he could face a heavy prison sentence.
