Firefighter recovering after Greenwich blaze

Lightning is being blamed for a fire that injured a Greenwich firefighter last night.

It happened when a portion of the attic collapsed at a home on Cognewaugh Road just before 7 p.m.

Firefighters say the blaze spread quickly due to the home's wooden shingles.

The family that lives in the home will have to find another place to stay because of the extensive damage.
