Suspect arrested in Norwalk bank robbery

Norwalk police say they have arrested a suspect in a bank robbery this morning.

The robbery occurred at the Webster Bank on Connecticut Avenue shortly after 10 a.m.

Investigators say Curtis Tolliver passed a note to a teller stating he had a gun and demanding money.

Tolliver was arrested a short time later at the GameStop in the same parking lot. Police say the clerk gave Tolliver a dye pack inside the money that when opened, exploded all over him.

Tolliver is expected to be arraigned in court tomorrow.
