Bridgeport fire leaves 4 homeless

Four people are left homeless after a house fire in Bridgeport yesterday morning, police say.

Investigators say the blaze started just after midnight Sunday at 303 Orchard St., and that the flames damaged the third floor of the house.

No one was hurt.

The Red Cross is helping the four people find a place to stay, and is providing them with emergency money to buy clothing and food.
