Driver injured after car crashes into Bridgeport business

A car crashed into a building Friday night, sending the driver to the hospital, according to Bridgeport police.
The crash happened on the corner of Grand Street and Hurd Avenue around 10:15 p.m.
The owner of Southpoint Auto Body says that fortunately, his business will remain open despite the damage as a result of the crash.
He says that he was at home when a neighbor called to tell him a car had driven into the building.
The driver, 21-year-old Reion Foreman, is facing several motor vehicle charges including driving without a license. She was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
Foreman was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center. The extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
