Ride sharing app Lyft comes back to Connecticut

Lyft is making a return to Connecticut.

The popular ride hailing service re-debuted across Connecticut Thursday, offering door to door service in many of the state's largest communities.

Lyft suspended service in the state back in 2015 after facing a lawsuit and the threat of new regulation from the state.

The service is offering customers $5 off their first ride by using the code "CT Love."
