Volunteers push to get out the vote ahead of Election Day

Democrats and Republicans across southwestern Connecticut on Monday made their final pushes to get out the vote.
Democratic volunteers in Westport said they were calling for local candidates, as well as making calls to the battleground state of New Hampshire in support of Hillary Clinton. They said they made an upward of 3,500 calls a day during phone banks.
Republicans in Fairfield were calling on behalf of Donald Trump and local Republicans. They said they've had more than 100 volunteers make about 20,000 phone calls recently to ensure people vote Tuesday.
Both Democrats and Republicans are expecting a big turnout Tuesday, with local towns reporting a record number of voter registrations.
