Voter registration reaches new high in CT
The number of Connecticut residents who registered to vote in the election has set a new record.
The secretary of the state's office says registration topped two million going into yesterday.
Before noon yesterday, at least 9,000 people took advantage of the state's same-day voter registration.
Officials say turnout was likely about 75 percent, which would be the same as 2012.
