Police: Nursing assistant charged with sexually assaulting 2 women
Police say a certified nursing assistant is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting two patients at a nursing home in Wilton.
They say the incidents happened at the Wilton Meadows Health Care Facility on Danbury Road, with the most recent one on Monday.
Authorities say 26-year-old Hunter Scott McGinty, of Danbury, inappropriately touched a 66-year-old woman and an 82-year-old woman while he was at work.
"Apparently, he was with another CNA who observed him make contact with the resident. She reported to administration right away," says Stephen Brennan, of the Wilton Police Department.
Police say after initially interviewing McGinty about the 82-year-old, he admitted to assaulting the 66-year-old woman at the same facility in August and September.
They believe these were the only incidents at the nursing home and say neither woman was hurt.
