Stamford police say they are searching for a driver who hit two people and never stopped on Saturday.
The incident occurred near West Main Street and Greenwich Avenue around 7 p.m.
Police say one of the victims is seriously hurt. The other victim is expected to be OK.
They say if the driver had stayed on the scene, they were not likely to face any charges.
Police are asking the driver to contact authorities.
