Connecticut State Police are patrolling on the ground and by plane during this year's holiday travel.
They say aerial patrol will be about 1,000 feet above I-84, between Hartford and the Massachusetts line.
Connecticut State Trooper Tyler Weerden says once aerial patrol picks out an aggressive driver, they'll radio troopers on the ground who will then go and address that driver.
AAA says almost 49 million people are expected to travel 50 miles or more for the holiday, the most since 2007.
State police say it will be a while before there are aerial patrols on I-95.
