Police: 2 men suspected in fatal MA fire face judge

Two men arrested in Bridgeport after allegedly setting a deadly house fire in Massachusetts were in court Monday to fight their extradition.
Ramon Millan, 37, and Jose Crespo, 32, stood before a judge and challenged their return to Massachusetts.
Massachusetts State Police say the duo broke into an apartment there and then set it on fire. When firefighters put out the flames, police say they found a man dead with his hands tied behind his back.
Bridgeport Police Chief AJ Perez says investigators tracked the suspects to Bridgeport and contacted police there for help. Perez says his officers had Millan's address from a previous drug arrest.
"We secured the location for the Massachusetts State Police," he says. "We found a particular vehicle that they were looking for."
Perez says both suspects were taken into custody without incident and a search of Millan's home found items of interest to the investigation.
Crespo has no ties to Connecticut and lists New Jersey as his home.
Court officials say both men are originally from Puerto Rico, where Crespo has several weapons convictions.
The men are due back in court next month.
