Police: 2 men suspected in fatal MA fire to face judge
Two Bridgeport men suspected in a deadly house fire in Massachusetts are expected to have an extradition hearing in Bridgeport this afternoon.
Ramon Millan and Jose Crespo are accused of breaking into an apartment in Fitchburg, Massachusetts Saturday night. Officials say the men beat up a resident and set the apartment on fire, which resulted in the victim's death.
Investigators say the victim appeared to have had his hands tied behind him.
Both men are being held on fugitive from justice charges in Bridgeport, but state police in Massachusetts say they will face charges of assault with a deadly weapon, arson and armed home invasion there.
Police say they worked with Massachusetts State Police to arrest the men in southwestern Connecticut Sunday.
