Stamford PD: Teens rob unlocked car in Springdale section

Stamford police are asking for the public's help in identifying several teens they say robbed an unlocked car.

Authorities say it happened in the Springdale section of the city last week. A surveillance camera caught the thieves during the incident on Bouton Street West.

In the video, the teens are seen attempting to find an unlocked car.

Stamford police are encouraging residents to keep their car doors locked, especially during the holiday season.

They are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call them.
