With just two weeks until Christmas, some local post offices are extending hours to help make sure holiday packages get delivered on time.
Several post offices in Fairfield, Milford, Stratford, Westport, Darien and Greenwich will be open Sunday until 4 p.m. Sunday.
Next Sunday's hours will also be 12 to 4 p.m.
Post office officials say their projected busiest day will be Monday, Dec. 19, so the select Sundays are a way to beat the holiday rush.
