Police: Brother in fatal crash arrested hours before for DUI

New details are emerging on the deadly crash on I-95 in Fairfield that took the lives of a brother and sister.

Police say 33-year-old Brandon Dupee, of Bridgeport, and 31-year-old Lindsay Dupee, of Stratford, died at the scene.

They say Brandon was driving Lindsay's car on I-95 North, got off at Exit 21 in Fairfield and slammed into a tree Wednesday morning.

Norwalk police say Brandon Dupee was arrested for DUI and possession of marijuana about six hours before the crash, and later bonded out.

Police are awaiting toxicology results.

Friends have started a GoFundMe account to raise money for their funerals and for Lindsay Dupee's 12-year-old daughter.
