Man arrested after firing back at gunman

A man who fired back at a gunman Saturday was arraigned in Stamford Superior Court Monday.
Dhakedi Jackson, 19, is charged with assault and possession of a handgun without a permit.
Officials say Jackson and his friend, the victim, were walking along Mission Street on Saturday when someone opened fire, shooting the victim in the stomach.
Police say Jackson then fired back and fled.
The victim was shot in his abdomen and was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
It is believed that this was a territorial altercation.
The Stamford Advocate reports that police have not yet found the other gunman.
