Post offices see busiest shipping day of the year
Postal officials say Monday is the busiest shipping day of the year.
People across the country are shipping their gifts, packages and cards today before the holidays arrive.
Post offices say it may cost more over the next few days to get gifts shipped in time for Christmas. They say there has been a 30 percent increase in packages being delivered.
More than 750 million packages will be delivered all over the world.
Postal officials say they hired 35,000 extra workers to deal with the holiday rush.
